Hi and welcome to You Had Me At Rosé blog! Here at YHMAR, we talk about new ideas, food, make up, fashion choices, mental health and much more while still keeping real but let’s face it, not everything can be rainbows and sunshine but at least you can always have rosé. So come along on this little adventure with me, I’ll let you pick the music once or twice. Here is a little bit about me:

  • My name is Lauren Abrams but will be Lauren James in October.
  • My nickname is Laukat
  • I am from Lowell, MA but I currently live in Nashua, NH (with the dream of moving to TX someday)
  • I have a masters degree in applied behavioral analysis
  • My fiance’s name is Kevin James and he is not as cool as the actor.
  • My kitten, who i love more than anything, is named Mya. She is a frequent source of my photos and has her own instagram @mya_the_weetle_beeb
  • I have always been into fashion and wearing cute clothes. I always have planned my outfits way too far in advance for functions, parties, school, whatever.
  • In 7th grade, I took one of those “career tests” and I got fashion designer, however, I can’t draw or sew and truly I am more about wearing clothes than designing them myself. (but also I have ideas)
  • Some of my favorite brands are the no name brands from Marshalls or TJMaxx. I also do a lot of shopping on Amazon.
  • I find myself to be really frugal so all my fashions are the same way. I look for cute/good quality but also on the more affordable side.
  • Along with fashion, I love food and mostly that means someone else cooking for me.
  • However, I don’t consider myself a foodie because I know nothing about flavors other than “good”
  • Kevin cooks amazing meals for me a lot of the time and I also go to a lot of restaurants.
  • I also am a big rose wine lover, hence the name.
  • Mimosas are also my favorite beverage for anytime of the day, any day of the week.
  • Blog posts are posted on the Saturday and Sunday at 9:00am and intermittently throughout the week.
  • Fashions are posted alongside instagram posts with links to the actual fashion or dupes!
